Friday's challenge
Hey Folks you all know how I love my Fridays, well it's finally here YEAH!!!!. So for the new year I've decided on Friday's to put up a song challenge. This week I am going to list the 5 saddest songs to me(I read a countdown recently and they weren't even close) So here goes:
1.Season's in the Sun - do I need to tell anyone why
2.Alone again naturally - this always reminds me of my Dad, I don't know why
3.My eyes adored you. until recently I never considered it a sad song but listen to the lyriics and it's really heartbreaking
4.Honey - great song
5.Wildfire
and I lied there is a sixth Dance with my father again - by Luther because I loved Luther and his death was a tremendous loss. Well thats it nest week I will pick an upbeat list. So get your fingers and minds working and lets see what you got.

A friend of mine has recenlty died, so at the moment my favorite song is by Macy Grey - The Letter.
Just about all of the songs on John Lennon's last album make me sad...
Sand and Water by Beth Nielsen Chapman. I discovered it soon after my son went to Australia and I missed him so much I couldn't stand it. I'd play this song and bawl my eyes out.
You listed some good songs.
You missed 'Love is like a butterfly'.
"One is the Loneliest Number" has always been a sad song for me.....
